Utilizing Gentran Integration Suite (GIS), we have helped to establish a large network of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) with MOL's trading partners and Customs Services world wide.

EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is the globally accepted & standardize electronic method for exchanging business documents / data between businesses and trading partners.

Supported Message Sets
ANSI-X12 - Used extensively in North America and Canada.
Outbound messages to trading partners:
T/S 301 Booking Confirmation T/S 404 Rail Carrier Shipment Information. T/S 310 Freight Invoicing T/S 997 Functional Acknowledgement. T/S 315 Status Details T/S 998 Set Cancellation. Canada Customs US Customs.
Inbound messages from trading partners:
T/S 300 Booking Request T/S 410 Rail Carrier Freight Details & Invoice. T/S 304 Shipping Instructions T/S 824 Applications Advice. T/S 322 Terminal Operations T/S 997 Functional Acknowledgement.
UN/EDIFACT - Used extensively in Europe and other countries excluding the North American continent.

Value Added Networks such as ICC, Digital Movers, Kleinschmidt. File Transfer Protocol. Established between two parties. SMTP E-mail.
EDI Data Warehouse
The EDI Data Warehouse is a central repository of data that is exchanged between MOL and it's trading partners. It allows MOL-IT's Global EDI Management Group (GEMG) and users to track key data moving through the system. Using the data warehouse, our EDI customer service personnel can answer routine questions about the life cycle of an EDI transaction, as to when it was sent/received, and acknowledged
