At MOL-IT, we believe that corporate responsibility goes beyond business—it’s about making a lasting, positive impact on society. Our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is driven by a desire to create meaningful change in the communities we serve, while promoting sustainability, education, and well-being.
In line with our sustainability goals, MOL-IT has funded the installation of a 26.12KW On-Grid Roof Top Solar Power Plant, commissioned by Tata Power. This initiative, connected to the Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation (CESC) grid, reduces electricity costs for institutions and minimizes environmental impact by lowering fuel consumption during power cuts. This step aligns with our vision of promoting renewable energy and reducing our carbon footprint.
We also believe in the transformative power of education. Through our CSR efforts, MOL-IT has supported the procurement of cutting-edge laboratory equipment for the Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering department, as well as language lab accessories. These upgrades enhance the learning environment, giving students access to modern resources that foster innovation and academic growth.
The MOL-IT CSR committee commends Ramakrishna Mission Shilpapitha for their strategic use of funds in fostering both sustainability and education. As part of our long-term vision, we recommend the commissioning of two additional solar power plants, further reducing energy expenses and enhancing the institution’s sustainability footprint.
At MOL-IT, we remain committed to supporting initiatives that drive innovation, environmental stewardship, and educational excellence, ensuring a brighter and more sustainable future for all.
